Risk disclosure
Last updated October 20, 2026
Read this before you start an asset that trades. If you are not sure you can afford a loss, do not start it.
In short
- You can lose some or all of the money you let an asset use.
- On Hyperliquid your money stays in your own account. Supermarket never holds your money. Supermarket does not promise any result.
- Past live results do not guarantee future results. You can lose your whole total cap.
- Some assets are not available where you live. You must follow your local law.
1. You can lose money
Prices can move quickly and without warning. An asset that trades can lose some or all of the money you let it use.
- Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains. With perpetual futures, a position can be closed by the venue (liquidated) and its margin lost.
- Prediction markets pay only if an outcome happens. A position can be worth nothing when the market resolves.
- Lending and liquidity positions can lose value through liquidations, bad debt or a stablecoin losing its peg.
Only use money you can afford to lose, and set limits that match it.
2. Super Assets can make mistakes
A Super Asset acts on its own between the times you check it. It can follow its rules into a loss, act on wrong or late data, stop because a service is down, or keep a rule that no longer works. Software can have bugs, including Supermarket's.
Check your assets regularly. You can stop any asset at any time from Supermarket.
3. Results are not promised
Past live results do not guarantee future results. You can lose your whole total cap.
A live trading record counts only when it is read from the venue's own records. Supermarket does not show backtest, simulation or projected returns, because they do not predict what an asset will do. A risk note may name a loss seen in past tests, as a warning. A listing, a status or a live record is not a promise of any future result.
4. Where your money is held
On Hyperliquid, your funds stay in your own account. An asset that trades there uses a trade-only permission that you approve: it can place trades but cannot withdraw.
Supermarket never holds your money and never holds a key that could withdraw it. Assets that would need to hold your funds to trade, such as the Polymarket assets, are not offered for live trading and never take money.
Supermarket cannot return funds lost to a trade, a venue failure, a hack, or a payment sent to a wrong address. Never share your private key or recovery phrase with anyone, including Supermarket.
5. Outside venues and networks
Assets trade on venues and blockchains that Supermarket does not run, such as Hyperliquid, Polymarket, Morpho on Base and Arbitrum. They can go down, halt trading, change their rules, freeze accounts or be hacked. Smart contracts can fail. Blockchain transactions are final and cannot be reversed.
6. Costs reduce results
Trading fees, funding payments, network fees and the cost of any AI model an asset uses are paid from your accounts. You pay them even when the asset loses money, and they can turn a small gain into a loss.
7. Where assets are not available
You are responsible for following the laws that apply where you live. Supermarket may limit Markets or an asset by location.
South Korea
The global Supermarket app is not available to residents of South Korea. Supermarket Korea is a separate service and is not open yet. Korean law can also treat betting on overseas prediction markets as illegal gambling, so never connect a Polymarket account to an asset if you live in South Korea.
Polymarket restrictions
Polymarket blocks or limits trading from many places. A Polymarket-based asset cannot open positions for residents of:
- Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Burundi, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Iraq, Italy, Lebanon, Libya, Myanmar, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States and its outlying islands, Venezuela, Yemen and Zimbabwe;
- Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta in Canada, and parts of Ukraine;
- Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria, where Polymarket blocks residents completely.
This list follows Polymarket's own published restrictions as checked on October 14, 2026, and can change.
Perpetual futures
Hyperliquid and other offshore perpetual futures may be restricted where you live, including in the United States. Check the venue's terms and your local law before you connect an account.
Blocked places
The global Supermarket app is not available in the places below, and you cannot sign up there. Wherever you are, you can still sign in, stop an asset and take your money out.
- Sanctions: Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia and Syria; Crimea (including Sevastopol), Donetsk and Luhansk in Ukraine.
- FATF high-risk list: Iran, Myanmar and North Korea.
- Until a legal review: China and the United States; Ontario in Canada.
Browse only
In the European Economic Area, Japan and the United Kingdom, you can browse Supermarket, but copying, buying, connecting an account and starting are not available until a legal review clears them.
These lists follow Supermarket's location rules (version 1) and can change.
Sanctions
Do not use Supermarket from a country under comprehensive sanctions, and do not use a VPN or any other tool to get around a location restriction.
8. Not financial advice
Supermarket does not give investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and it does not act as your broker or adviser. Nothing on Supermarket is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. You are responsible for your own decisions and for any taxes on your results.
9. Questions
If anything here is unclear, ask before you start an asset. Write to us through Help & contact. The Terms of Service also apply.
